Gefran Soluzioni integrates Elettropiemme and CZ Elettronica

Gefran Soluzioni draws on the Gefran Group’s longest-standing heritage: in 1969, in Provaglio d’Iseo (BS), Gefran’s first workshop was established, producing electrical control panels for plastics processing machinery. From that business – now expanded and structured – emerged the system integration division, which complements the group’s other business areas.

CZ Elettronica, a long-established company based in Vicenza with 40 years’ experience, has built up distinctive expertise over the years in the metal sector and in the calendering of plastic film.

Elettropiemme, a company with over 60 years of history, has developed its know-how in the woodworking, printing, packaging and renewable energy sectors, where it operates both as a system integrator and as a designer and installer of industrial photovoltaic systems.

Three different journeys, the same culture of customer service: the merger now brings Gefran Soluzioni, Elettropiemme and CZ Elettronica together to integrate their expertise into a single entity, one that is more flexible and more competitive in the two core markets – plastics and metal – and in the renewable energy sector, particularly photovoltaics.

The figures illustrate the scale of this decision: 6,000 square metres of production facilities across three sites (Provaglio d’Iseo, Monticello Conte Otto and Trento) and a workforce of 120 people, 35 of whom are dedicated entirely to the technical department and technical support for customers. A technical team of this size provides a concrete guarantee of coverage, expertise and response times for customers.

The aim of the new company is to offer a superior level of service, both in terms of supply and after-sales support, going well beyond the mere manufacture of electrical switchboards:

• Electrical engineering and automation, from the analysis of technical specifications to the design of electrical schematics
• Manufacture of bespoke electrical switchboards, with production spread across the three plants
• Installation of electrical switchboards and on-machine cabling, including a ‘turnkey’ service
• Development of PLC software and SCADA supervision systems, at Level 1 and Level 2
• Supply of robotic cells
• Installation and commissioning, with technical support right up to the signing of the FAT
• Technical and after-sales support, including preventive and corrective maintenance
• Advanced remote support, including via smart glasses and HD cameras
• Integration with ERP/MES management systems
• Industrial IoT and AI platform for continuous production monitoring, available via a licence purchase or as a service managed by Gefran Soluzioni.
• Photovoltaics: design, installation and commissioning of ‘turnkey’ industrial photovoltaic systems, with support in accessing incentives (PNRR, Transizione 5.0, energy communities)
